Iwazki is part of a core of players, all not even in their prime yet, who continue to put up monster numbers. If young William can stay healthy, several career records are within reach. He is a run machine, having scored 677 runs thus far in his career. Iwazaki signed for one of the most significant bonuses in Yount's history, as his price tag was $33M in season 39. Iwazaki is locked in through season 50 at $11.3M per year.

This might be renamed the Harry Kline award, as he won his third straight Yount Cy Young. He has won four AL Cy Youngs and is an 8-time all-star. Kline's numbers were down ever so slightly from the previous year. This is the last year of Kline's contract, and it will be interesting to see if he hits the market, as he projects as a $20M player on the open market, even without Pat in the league.

Rule 5 is like the proverbial box of chocolates; you never know what you will get. Tracy came over in Rule 5, and despite not being that great defensively, he put up monster numbers, despite a stint on the DL. Tracy has great power but long-term projects as a DH due to his low pitch calling.
Yount Fireman of the Year:

Ontiveros was lights out in the regular season, with just four walks in 49 2/3 innings pitched. That did not translate to the post-season, where Ontiveros pitched 1 2/3 and was lit up like a Christmas tree, issuing two walks and giving up a home run, as the Guardians tried to repeat.
