Wash, rinse, and repeat. Rosales put up monster numbers again for the Brewers. The usual suspects in Maya, Sprague, and Maya were all candidates, but the sheer force of Rosales' power won him a second consecutive MVP. He now has 314 career bombs and is just 29. He has been on the trading block several times and is slated to DH this year.

Another repeat award winner, Pena, put up one of the greatest starting pitching seasons ever. His WHIP ranks #5 all-time in a season, and his ERA just missed the top five at 1.64. At just 25, Pena is on pace to be one of the all-time greats in the game and has signed out of arbitration for the next five years.
Yount Rookie of the Year:

This was a difficult call, as Jaime Mastroianni put up some great numbers for the A's, but ultimately Young was impressive for the rising Twins. The 9th overall pick for the Twins in season 47 out of Long Beach State, Young followed the typical progression and looked to be a mainstay in the rotation for years to come.
Yount Fireman of the Year:
Games: 53 Saves: 48 W-L: 2-1 Inn: 52.1
BB: 13 SO: 38 WHIP: 1.09 ERA: 1.72
Elcano was pretty lights out for the Padres, as he had his third straight season with at least 46 saves. A three-time all-star, Elcano took a long road to the majors after being a first-round pick in Season 41 out of Pasco-Hernando Community College. Elcano has another year of arbitration and then could become a free agent.
