Although there is debate among members of the Yount League about the validity of all-star recognition, there is an actual all-star game on the major league level. The Dodgers led the way with seven all-stars, with the Guardians, Reds, and Brewers all checking in with more than four. With no mandatory all-star selection from each team, just five teams were shut out of recognition at the major league level, down from twelve last year.
In the minor leagues, every level has an all-star game except rookie, which recognizes, but has no actual game. The Diamondbacks led the way with 21 selections. The leader last year, the Cubs, checked in with 19, as did the Orioles and Nationals. The Royals were the only team with no selections in the minor leagues.
