Baton Rouge, LA (GUGUGOOHG) - Evaluating a draft class immediately after the draft can be challenging, as initial impressions may suggest the draft isn't powerful. However, at Get Up Get Up Get Outta Here Gone, we've developed a formula to evaluate the success of draft classes by analyzing past years. This formula assigns points based on the number of players still active in the sport, awarding more points to those who have made it to the major leagues, with extra bonuses depending on the round each player was drafted.

Quite simply, this is the best draft class since the blog started tracking. The Tigers led with six players in the majors, getting big-time points for the draft-day steal that was Jonathan Skaggs in the 20th round. The Tigers had six major leaguers in this draft and rank third all-time, with the Padres and Mets also checking into the top ten.
