Lebanon, KS - With the minor league playoffs complete, it's great to look back at the minor league regular season to see who the top teams were. Ranking these teams is challenging because of the various levels involved, and the rankings are based on overall regular-season performance rather than the team's current lineup, which may have changed due to promotions and demotions. Here are the Yount Season 62 Minor League Power Rankings, along with the top twenty all-time minor league teams starting from Season 45, listed at the end.

It was a banner year for the lower levels. The Baltimore Orioles' Rookie League club takes the top spot after a staggering 67-9 campaign, the best winning percentage in the league at any level, and lands eighth all-time. They were not alone: three Season 62 teams cracked the all-time top twenty, with the Kansas City Royals' AAA squad (108-36) checking in at thirteenth and the Atlanta Braves' Rookie League team (62-14) settling in at sixteenth. The Minnesota Twins' Low-A affiliate posted the best raw record in the minors at 116-28. Texas, Atlanta, and Minnesota each placed three teams in the top twenty, a testament to organizational depth from top to bottom.
