Season 60 All-Stars

Members of the Yount League frequently discuss the legitimacy of all-star recognition, despite the existence of an official all-star game at the major league level. The Brewers led the way again with nine selections, with the Mariners and Cleavnomics with six each. This year there were eight teams with no players selected, down from eleven, as there are no mandatory selections.

MAJOR LEAGUE ALL-STARS

In the minor leagues, every level except for Rookie hosts an all-star game. While the Rookie level is acknowledged, it does not participate in an actual game. The Orioles once again led the Minor League All-Stars with 27 selections. Unlike in past years, the minor league all-star selections were more evenly distributed, with thirteen teams reaching double digits. For the first time in what seems like forever, no team was excluded from the minor league all-stars.
