Assessing a draft class immediately following the draft can be difficult, as initial impressions often suggest the draft may not be exceptionally strong. However, at Get Up Get Up Get Outta Here Gone, we have devised a formula to evaluate the success of draft classes by analyzing past years. This formula allocates points based on the number of players still active in the sport, with higher points assigned to those who have reached the major leagues, and additional bonuses awarded according to the round in which each player was drafted.


The draft class from Season 51 may lack standout all-stars, but it is notable for its depth of role players, achieving the second-highest average class score of 33.68. Both the Phillies and the Mets ranked in the top ten due to a strong core of players still active in the minors. Conversely, Anaheim experienced another underwhelming draft, with an index of only 4. Since we initiated this practice in Season 44, we will continue to compile the top ten drafts of all time based on these scores. Below are the rankings for Season 51:
