Season 55 Top 100 Yount Prospects

Kewaskum, WI - The Yount world revolves around the reigning World Series champs Washington, as they claimed the top two spots on the prospect list, while Milwaukee's minor league system boasted four players in the top ten. Carl Leslie, the second pick in the Season 52 draft, is progressing rapidly, currently playing in AAA and continuing to mash. With talent overflowing in the majors, it raises the question of how long Leslie will remain in the minors. Washington led the way with nine players in the top hundred, while the Brewers and the Reds followed closely behind with eight players each. The Reds are constantly adding to their talent pool and given the aging NL, they could pose a significant threat in the coming years. Five teams didn't have anyone in the top hundred, which is up from four last year. These minor league-deficient clubs are the Mets, Pirates, Rockies, Marlins, and Royals.
