Rollins is on a Hall of Fame path if he remains healthy. As the first pick in the Season 52 draft from LSU, Rollins has been a standout since his debut in Season 54. He has collected numerous awards, including Rookie of the Year, five All-Star team selections, two Silver Sluggers, an All-Star Game MVP, and an MVP. Rollins was signed in his first arbitration year for a reasonable $9.3M, extending through Season 61. Will the Diamondbacks secure enough pitching to complement their two superstars, Rollins and Milliard?

Regarding Awards Merchants, first-ballot Hall of Famer Julian Pena once again claimed the Cy Young, despite impressive seasons from a revitalized Torey Owen and his former teammate Richardo Guillen. Pena continues to deliver extraordinary performances, leading in career WHIP and ERA, with the rest of the top five being relievers. His accolades include a Rookie of the Year, five Cy Young Awards, nine All-Star selections, a Silver Slugger, a No-Hitter, and a Perfect Game. Having reached the maximum on the free agent market, Pena is in the final year of his contract. It's difficult to envision him not securing another maximum contract at age 35, as he shows no signs of slowing down.

Yount Rookie of the Year

The Tigers have done it once more. They've been praising Skaggs since he was selected in the 20th round of Season 56 and excelled in the minors. Could he become a version of Pickford Lite in the future? He began the season in Triple-A, and after eight impressive starts, he was called up to the major league team. He exceeded expectations by delivering remarkable performances, leaving the rest of the National League envious of the Tigers' good fortune.

Is the era of the traditional closer over? Increasingly, teams are adopting a strategy of using their best available pitcher, leading to a decline in save numbers across the league. As a result, the blog is recognizing the most valuable reliever. Pitching in 67 games and covering 127.1 innings, Pestano has proven to be exceptionally valuable for the Cardinals. Selected as the 11th pick in the Season 52 draft, Pestano has been a reliable presence since his debut in Season 55, thriving in a hybrid reliever role.
